Worship at Riverside Church at Park and King is rooted in the historic Christian tradition while remaining open, thoughtful, and deeply engaged with the world around us. Our services blend ancient rhythms with contemporary voices. You’ll hear Scripture read, prayers offered for our city and world, and music that ranges from traditional hymns to modern expressions of faith. Some weeks the sanctuary is filled with the sound of a classic hymn; other weeks you might hear a new song or a fresh arrangement that invites the congregation to sing in a new way. At the center of it all is congregational participation—worship is something we do together.
Preaching at Riverside is thoughtful, honest, and connected to real life. Our sermons engage Scripture with curiosity and care, exploring how ancient texts speak to modern questions about faith, justice, community, and hope.
